WELDING
ARC WELDING: FOR BEGINNERS

WE-02 • Classes begin: Mar 11 (End date: May 1) • 42 Hours (14 Sessions) • Tue &
Thu: 6:00-9:00
This course will teach the basic skills in the art of arc welding, mig
welding and gas cutting. You will learn how to operate and use the equipment
safely. Learn the skill of welding hands on and open a wide new field of
artistic challenges. There will be handout sheets and practice work for all
students. For safety reasons, students are required to wear all cotton clothing,
work shoes, and safety glasses to class. Enrollment is limited to 10 students.

Tuition: $299 (includes a $50 material fee)
Rick has been a welder for 30 plus years. He has experience in Robotics,
Mig, Tig and Arc welding. Rick was safety certified and a lead man in welding
and fabrication for 20 years at Bird Machine Co. Rick is presently a welder
fabricator at Parkinson Technologies Inc.
Louis worked as a welding supervisor, structural and automation for General
Dynamics for five years. He also was the welding leadman and instructor for Bird
Machine Company for 10 years.
