ACCOUNTING BASICS

This mini course will introduce you to the basics of financial accounting
and bookkeeping. We will discuss common issues relating to accounting for
assets, liabilities, and equity. We will also review the basic accounting
statements, including the Balance Sheet and the Income Statement. Tuition
includes a book. This is a great class to take before our QuickBooks
computer class.

Ed Jaworski brings 25 years of business experience to the classroom,
including IT positions at a multi-national financial services firm and a major
ERP business software maker. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Information
Systems, a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Accounting, and is a
certified QuickBooks Advisor and a certified Microsoft Office Specialist. Ed
currently heads Solutions for Office Software, a local consulting firm helping
small companies use business software such as QuickBooks, MS Office and MS
Access.
