This is a two part workshop where you will learn how your chakra system affects your overall physical and emotional health. Your body is a complex machine. It is constantly taking in and processes new information. However, rather than processing and letting go of “unnecessary information,” some information turns into worries or fears which can become “stuck” in our bodies energy. Kundalini is the oldest form of yoga (dating back over 5,000 years) and incorporates all facets of yoga including exercises called kriyas, breath work (pranayama) and meditation (silent and with mantra). Massage for partners is designed to help participants learn the art of non-verbal communication through touch. Touch is the cornerstone of an intimate relationship. Parents/partners/friends and caregivers can all benefit from learning the therapeutic techniques offered in this class. We start with massage of the head, neck and shoulders during the first class. The second class concentrates on the arms, legs and stretches for the hips. The final class is devoted to the back and shoulders.
