Dancing with the Dogs (Intro to Canine Freestyle) - NEW CLASS!
PE-01 • Classes begin: Mar 17 (End date: Apr 14) • 5 Hours (5 Sessions) • Mon: 8:30-9:30
Dance with your dog to music! No experience required. This program will introduce you to basic canine freestyle moves, music selection for your dog, and how to begin creating a freestyle routine. Dog should be able to do a sit/stay. Bring lots of treats, a favorite toy, and water for your dog.

Bryna Davidow owns MetroWestDog.com (www.MetroWestDog.com), Metrowest's premier online pet directory, as well as Must Love Dogs (www.must-love-dogs.net), a dog walking and dog training business. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, is certified in dog training and pet massage and has two degrees in communication. She currently lives in Framingham with two great canine companions.

THE CANINE GOOD CITIZEN
PE-02 • Classes begin: Apr 7 (End date: May 12) • 5 Hours (5 Sessions) • Mon: 7:30-8:30
Participants will learn how obedience behaviors apply to every day living. The purpose of this session is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community because it has been trained to be well behaved in the home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs. There is no age limit for dogs taking this class. A training collar and a slip or buckle collar with a six-foot leather leash, which is no more than 1" wide, are required. Please note that children under 16 may observe this class, but may not participate in the actual session. Students who successfully complete this program will receive the Canine Good Citizen title of the American Kennel Club. All breeds whether pure breeds or mixed breeds are welcome. Prerequisite: DOG OBEDIENCE or equivalent training.

DOG OBEDIENCE
PE-03 • Classes begin: Mar 3 (End date: Mar 31) • 5 Hours (5 Sessions) • Mon: 6:30-7:30

PE-04 • Classes begin: Mar 3 (End date: Mar 31) • 5 Hours (5 Sessions) • Mon: 7:30-8:30
PE-05 • Classes begin: Apr 7 (End date: May 12) • 5 Hours (5 Sessions) • Mon: 6:30-7:30
Understand how dogs learn while teaching your friend and companion basic obedience commands: heel, sit, stand, down, come and more using motivational training methods. You will learn solutions to undesirable behavior while having fun with your dog. Dogs must be at least six months old. No dog is too old to be trained or retrained. Please bring proof of vaccinations on the first evening of the class. A training collar and a six-foot leather leash, which is no more than 1" wide, are required. Please note that children under 16 may observe this class, but may not participate in the actual dog obedience session. The participant should be the sole trainer of the dog.

Mary Walter has eighteen years training and teaching experience with dogs in both individual and group settings for the purpose of achieving titles for all levels of competition in a variety of Dog Sports. She is currently President and Training Director for Hundesport New England.
