AUTOMOTIVE
CAR CARE
AU-01 Classes begin: Mar 18 (End date: May 6) 21 Hours (7 Sessions) Tue:
6:30-9:30
Designed for the novice DO-IT-YOURSELFER, this course will be covering all
of the major systems of the modern automobile. About 30 minutes of each class
will be spent in lecture/demonstration. The remaining time will be spent working
on an automobile. Even if you do not plan on doing your own auto maintenance,
you will learn the basics of the various auto systems, how they work and what
should be done when theyre not. Since this is a hands-on class, students will
be required to wear safety glasses, old work clothes and work boots/hiking
boots. Tuition includes a textbook.

always been interested in automobiles, how they run and how to keep them
running.
SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
AU-02 Classes begin: Mar 6 (End date: Apr 10) 18 Hours (6 Sessions) Thu:
6:30-9:30
In this class you will learn how to tune-up, repair and even overhaul small
2 and 4 cycle gasoline engines as found in lawn mowers, snowblowers, tillers,
go-carts, leaf blowers, string trimmers, chain saws, and small outboard motors.
Each student will practice on their own engine brought to class each week. The
engine may remain attached to a lawn mower or snowblower. Rejuvenate your yard
equipment. Information gained here will be useful for many seasons to come!

Don Breslow's technical career has been involved with engineering devices
and servomechanism systems to control electric motors. These interests have been
active for virtually his whole lifetime, and carry over to the present with
restoration of antique automobiles and teaching small engine repair.
