Is your fear of speaking to groups holding you back? It's probably no
surprise to hear that famous statistic "Public speaking is Americans' #1 fear,
surpassing snakes and even death!" Public speaking & presentation skills are
critical for success both in the workplace and outside of our careers. People
with these skills tend to shine, especially when the job market is competitive.
In this fun & dynamic course, you will learn:
• How to overcome your fear of public speaking.
• How to use your words to motivate, persuade and
inspire others.
• How to use your communication skills to achieve your
personal and professional goals.
We will use lectures, assignments and in-class activities to help you conquer
your fears, move beyond your comfort zone and gain the confidence you'll need to
communicate well.
Course tuition includes an Audio CD to help you retain what you've learned.

James Feudo is speaker, author and trainer and has worked with small
businesses for over 10 years. James got his start in training in 1996 as an
instructor at Bentley College. A Dale Carnegie graduate, James has been involved
with Toastmasters International and has been promoting good communication
practices. He has addressed professional organizations and worked with
individuals to help them improve their business and personal performance through
effective communication. James holds a BA and an MS in Computer Information
Systems from Bentley College with a strong concentration in Business.

Sessions) • Mon: 6:30-9:00
Do feel that your presentation skills are a liability? Do you wish you could
connect with an audience the way others do? Let's face it: being able to present
well in front of an audience can open new doors for you and build your
confidence in other areas. In this course we'll use lectures, exercises and
assignments to learn:
• How to capture your audience's attention and keep it.
• How to use the Three P's of Public Speaking to create a talk that will
motivate and
inspire your audience.
• How to handle distractions while speaking.
• How to think on your feet and handle Q&A sessions.
This course is designed for people who are comfortable speaking to groups and
want to sharpen their skills or is a great follow-up for those who have taken
the Fear of Public Speaking class. Course tuition includes an Audio CD to help
you retain what you've learned.
