300 hour Commonwealth of Massachusetts Aesthetics Program
Spring Session: Mar 2 (End date: Jun 3) • Fall Session: Sep 1 (End date: Dec 3)
We are offering a new 300 hour Commonwealth of Massachusetts Aesthetics Program. This is an affordable, creative and exciting launch into the field of skin care with many diversified career opportunities. This fully licensed program will accommodate your work schedule as well as your financial situation. It is an opportunity to continue your job as you go to school.
This program is the first in the area to offer two sessions. Phase One in the spring, followed by Phase Two in the fall, giving you enough time to "pay as you learn".
Your classroom is a well-equipped salon/lab where your instructor is a Board Certified Aesthetician and Licensed Aesthetics Instructor, Rina E. Zarba. Rina owns her own company, Egotone, providing pristine products for her clients. Rina has worked with a cosmetic surgeon in the advancement of technology in skin enhancement. Enrollment limited to ten students to maximize hands on learning.
The spring session (Mar 2 to Jun 3) - The first phase will concentrate on anatomy, physiology, diseases, disorders of the skin, cosmetic chemical ingredients, product knowledge, sterilization, bacteriology, laws, ethics, and massage relaxation techniques. This course includes your textbook and kit. Teaching will be practical with hands-on as much as possible meeting the related requirements. A number of visual aids will be used. You will receive a Kit as well as a textbook, workbook, and State exam book.
The fall session (Sep 1 to Dec 3) - The second phase will concentrate on makeup application, shadowing, contouring, lighting techniques, analyzing skin tones, sales product knowledge, role playing, use of electrical aesthetic equipment, waxing, clinical practice, Paraffin treatment procedures, record keeping and discussions of your internship.
Total tuition is $2398 - $1199 per session. (includes all books, supplies, hand outs, etc). $300 is due upon registration. Additional payments of $300 are due in April and May with $299 due in June. You have the summer off. The fall session starts on September 1 with $300 due upon registration. Additional payments of $300 are due in October and November with $299 due in December.
